LITTLE BLESSINGS MINISTRY
As you prepare for the addition of a child in your family, we want to support, celebrate, and provide resources to assist you in the ever changing role of parenting. Please let us know if you are expecting a new little blessing in your family so we can celebrate with you!
PARENT/CHILD DEDICATION
Our church celebrates the addition of new family members and recognizes the responsibility that we all have to support and pray for one another as we raise our children in the knowledge and admonition of the Lord. Parent/Child dedication takes place several times throughout the year. It is a time of commitment for parents and congregation alike. One week prior to the dedication, all parents are asked to join us for a parent/child dedication class as we discuss the meaning and importance of the dedication time. If you would like to be scheduled for the next parent/child dedication, please let us know.
PRESCHOOL PLAY DAYS/SPECIAL EVENTS

Both groups enjoy games that provide a fun way to connect kids with God’s truth.

Think you have what it takes to compete in Bible Drill?? Each spring, children in grades 3-6 participate in weekly games and activities that assist them in memorizing all 66 books of the Bible, 25 verses, and 10 key passages and how to find them quickly in their Bibles. There are local, state, and area competition. Memorizing God’s Word is one of the most important disciplines of a Christian. Kids love the trips, thrill of competition, and fun each week as they commit God’s message to heart. Bible Drill meets on Sunday evenings starting in January.
FAITH CONVERSATIONS CLASS
Offered each year in the Fall, this class is designed for a small group of students, grades 3-5, who have been thinking about making a personal decision to follow Christ or who have recently made that decision. The class provides learning experiences about the basics of the Christian faith. We ask that families make a commitment that children take part in all 6 sessions on Sunday mornings.
The Children’s Day Out Program (CDO), which began in 1991, was designed to establish a ministry to preschoolers in our surrounding community by providing a place of loving care and meaningful experiences in a Christian environment. We strive to meet the individual needs of each child with an emphasis on developing self-confidence, independence, and happiness.
CDO uses activities and materials appropriate for each level of a child’s development. Our curriculum is theme oriented, which promotes learning through play. The children work in centers on activities to learn shapes, colors, numbers, and the alphabet. Four-year-olds and older work on Kindergarten readiness activities.
