SUNDAY MORNING FOR KIDS

Sunday School

Each Sunday, we offer graded Sunday School classes on the 2nd Floor of our Family Life/Gym Building.  Sunday School is a meaningful time of Bible lessons and activities with friends and fun!We follow the “SHINE” curriculum.  For more information click here.

Children’s Worship

We believe that it is important for children to learn to love worshiping with their church family, so children are always welcome in Family Worship.  Twice a month, 1st-5th graders will be invited to leave worship before the service for a special time of Children’s Worship. 1-2 graders meet in room 202 for their age specific time of teaching and worship, while 3-5 graders meet in room 107 for kid friendly worship with our youth praise band and age appropriate Bible teaching. Both groups enjoy games that provide a fun way to connect kids with God’s truth.

6:45pm-7:30pm Spark* (August-December) and Electives (January-April)

Our Children’s Choirs meet on Wednesday nights, lead in worship, and learn about worshipping together.

During August-December, our SPARK* are classes designed to teach children about God’s mission in the world. Each week children participate in games, stories, crafts, projects and lessons that help build a foundation of life of learning about and participating in God’s mission work around the world. The classes meet on the 2nd floor of the Family Life Center/Gym.

BIBLE DRILL

Think you have what it takes to compete in Bible Drill??  Each spring, children in grades 3-6 participate in weekly games and activities that assist them in memorizing all 66 books of the Bible, 25 verses, and 10 key passages and how to find them quickly in their Bibles.  There are local, state, and area competition.  Memorizing God’s Word is one of the most important disciplines of a Christian.  Kids love the trips, thrill of competition, and fun each week as they commit God’s message to heart.  Bible Drill meets on Sunday evenings from January – April.

FAITH CONVERSATIONS CLASS

Offered each year in the Fall, this class is designed for a small group of students, grades 3-5, who have been thinking about making a personal decision to follow Christ or who have recently made that decision.  The class provides learning experiences about the basics of the Christian faith.  We ask that families make a commitment that children take part in all 6 sessions on Sunday mornings.

Club 56

Club 56 is time and space just for 5th and 6th Graders.  They meet for Sunday School at 11am on Sundays and for Wednesdays nights at 6:45pm.  Curriculum and activities for this age group are designed to help preteens as they grapple with these transitional years.  This group has lots of fun outings and activities just for them, and they begin participating in some of the Youth Group activities as well.
