This will be a lunch-and-learn style event after church. The topic for the first one is foster care. This is a topic the breaks the hearts of so many, and yet, we often feel like we don’t know how to help. The Sanctuary Foster Care and The Riverside Project will come and share all the ways you can help foster kids and families without the commitment of being foster parents. (Unless of course you want to be a foster parent, that works, too!) This event will educate you on the state of foster care in our area, and outline different ways we can help. Keep in mind, coming to the event doesn’t commit you to anything. Plan to join us to find out if this is an area where you can help!
