Davey came to Sugar Land Baptist in August 2009 to serve as Youth Pastor. Beginning August 2011, he assumed the role of Young Adult Pastor. And starting in the summer of 2018, Davey assumed his new role as Adult Education & Discipleship Pastor.
He grew up in Georgetown, TX and served churches in Central Texas for over 10 years before moving to SLBC. Davey has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Baylor University (2002), a Masters of Social Work from the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University (2005), and a Masters of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary (2006). He and his wife, Jordan, have two boys, Will and Jack.
