Jamar Mitchell is a native from Houston, Texas. He has earned a B.A. Religion from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and an MDiv from Baylor’s Truett Seminary.
Jamar received his calling to ministry at the age of fourteen. Jamar has served as a Youth Pastor, Campus Pastor and oversaw Missions and Christian Service at Houston Baptist University. Jamar currently serves as a Wraparound Resource Specialist for Houston Independent School District. His desire is to be an extension of Christ in whatever community God leads him. He desires to help inspire youth to live unashamed lives for Christ and disciple to them to be strong in their faith so that they can lead through their actions rather than their words.
