On many Christmas trees, you’ll find ornaments marking Christmas seasons in which everything changed.
A set of intertwined wedding rings declares, “First Christmas.” You see it and remember that first holiday season in that tiny apartment. It was simple, but you were together.
Another ornament has the same phrase, “First Christmas,” but this time instead of rings, there’s a pair of booties. You smile as you think about the first Christmas with a baby. She didn’t do a thing. She didn’t even know what Christmas was. But oh what joy there was just holding her there in front of the tree.
Still, other ornaments remind us of another important first. A manger, some sheep, an angel, and a star, remind us that the Christmas that started it all.
Join us as we gather together and hear once more the stories of that very first Christmas. The one that truly did change everything once and for all.
